Dear Jaya Kesava Dasa,

I am nobody to forgive anyone....We just expressed each others point of view

and unfortunately it does not match.

I just disagreed on cetain points .... I never suggested that Prabhupada

was bad or anything even remotely close to that.

The human mind is such that when some one tells us that your thoughts are

wrong...We automatically construe it as WE are wrong...

The unconciousness is so deep.....

The reality is that we are not our thoughts.... we are not our emotions....

we are not hindu, christian, mohameddan, jain, buddhist..

We are not our philosophies...We are not our conditioning.. We are not

sons, daughters, we are not the professional we think we are..... not the

Saint, we are not the prophet, not the sinner.....

We are something much more... Much much more...

That reality will be aparent to us when we are not... when our thoughts

dissapear... When we throw aside everything...

To be naked in front of the truth is to be truth itself.

I Love you and pray that you reach the ultimate understanding...

Love as always

Bala....

Well said Bala.

Given that you believe what you say, how can thoughts be right or wrong?

Yes Nitin,

There is no contradiction. Thoughts can never be right or wrong... but they

can be different from what your thoughts are...

When ever there is a discussion, there has to be polarities. for you the

other polarity seems wrong.

Sample this

It is very clear that there is day and night....we see it happen.

But the ultimate truth is there is no day and no night.

Day in India is night in America. It depends where you are when you make

the statement.

So you have the paradox....

The truth always contains the opposites within it. Ultimate truth contains

the truth and untruth. This is what mahavira said.

Just what I said... WE have thoughts.. but we have no thoughs... all

thoughts are false... and all thought is true. It depends on what ground

you are speaking from.

In this case, I was responding to a situation. When you do that, you have

to think and 2 thoughts need not match... then you disagree...

Remain blank and without distinction... then everything is right and

everything is wrong at once.

Love

Bala..

Thanks Bala,\

a great truth in very simple words... it shows the clarity of mind

and height of sadhna.

What do you think... No thought is better or sakshi bhava is

better, which is easy and faster.

What would you say about fanaticism then? Isnt that a point of view as well?

Don't people with strong views achieve heights because of the inherent focus in

their approach?

Dear Nitin,

Fanaticism and inherent approach are two different things. One

should be fully focussed and engrossed in one's deity...

when such sadhaka starts rejecting others faith and tries to tell

everyone that only his point of view is right and only his deity is

Truth.. it become fanaticism.

Paramhansa, vivekananda, yogananda etc were having inherent focus

but not fanaticism

some very good postings here about japa and no thoughts

Shri Bala ji and others namaste. Fanaticism cant be justified under

any pretext!! it is the worst kind of blasphemy. Those who try to

justify fanaticism under any pretext are liars.Just as the sermon of

Shirdi Sain Baba that I posted a few days back said.

Shri Balaji I know very little about Jainism. I wish to know more about

the religion. Please be kind enough to share with us. For example about

Lord Mahavira, What are its preachings and main principles etc etc

regards

Aradhana
