Namaskaram to all. I am new to this group. Please forgive me if i

said anything wrong and do let me know. I asked the below question to

Aum, as per his wish i am posting it

here.

I wanted to know about this.People say that krishna use to steal

butter from others house right. They use to come to yeshodha and

complain about krishna. When krishna is a small child, Why not they

admire his mischief instead of complaining? They know very well, kids

allways do mischief and if it is a serious mistake then they have to

take actions. But krishna was just eating butter. How can they make a

complain on krishna for this?

Dear Sarvamata,

this is really beautiful question. Krishna did so many things in

his life time that one needs full enlightenment to know his actions.

Krishna in a way taught us how to live in Kaliyuga.

About the stealing of butter... what i feel is that all the

butter of Gokul was collected and sent to Mathura for Kansa. The

children were not given butter to eat as gopas were afraid of Kansa.

Shri Krishna broke this trend and started stealing the butter and

distributing it to all his friends, even monkeys. This was his first

revolt towards the kingdom of Kansa.

As per Bhakti explanation, Gopis were very happy when Krishna

stole their butter and they deliberately went to complain to Mother

Yashoda...so that yashoda will rebuke Krishna and they were happy to

see him being rebuked and then gopis would finally tell yashoda not to

rebuke as krishna was also dear to them. It was a very innocent

gesture of gopis ... small naughtyness with their friend Krishna. They

left no chance to be with krishna.

Gopis were so much in love with Krishna that one day when Krishna

did not steal their butter... they would come to his house and ask if

he was ill... why he did not steal.

Krishna's games can be better understood by Bhakti not by logics.
