2nd Mahavidya Tara and her shiva Akshobhya

============================================

So the first step towards creation of our world is that the clouds

of hydrogen form a pinda and this pinda due to immense pressure and

heat burns up. At this stage the Sun looks like a small star with

faint light in its centre. This baby sun or star is called Tara

which denotes the second Mahavidya.

Tara means star also Tara means the one who helps in swimming. Tara

is equally revered by Hindus Buddhists and bon religion (ancient

religion of Tibet).

Tara is the shakti which collects the cosmic dust and gives it a

shape of Sun so that creation should start. Her another

manifestation is Ugra-Tara (angry Tara). This is the manifestation

when Sun would be in his last steps of destructions and Ugra Tara

will be manifested who will drink the blood out of universe.

Her Shiva is Akshobhya, which means the one who is not disturbed.

Sun is when settled and is busy in settling itself is without any

disturbance and is steady. This state of consciousness is called

akshobhya shiva and his shakti is Tara. Togather they make the Sun

steady and manifest Bhu, Bhuvah and Swah all the three

manifestations. It is at this stage that Tara collects the cosmic

debris and makes our planets and Earth, where her children would

play.

From this work we can see how kind and loving Mother Tara is. She

has in her heart the welfare of human beings and wishes to make a

playground for her children.

Tara is not another shakti but a manifestation of Kali as loving

mother who creates.

Tara is the shakti of Akshobhya shiva…. And Sun remains undeterred

till he is getting hydrogen to burn. The moment hydrogen is

finished…sun will destroy every thing through his shakti Ugra Tara.

Hence Tara is peaceful and creating as long as we are presenting her

with Anna (Food). In the case of sun the anna (Som) is Hydrogen

gas. Tara works on all levels. In our body, as long as we are

presenting Anna ahuti of food, air, water…Tara is creating. If we

stop giving our body food etc…Tara will turn into Ugra Tara and will

destroy our body. In society also we are presenting anna to Tara by

doing service to poor, by doing Yagya, by helping others and Tara is

peaceful. When this yagya is stopped Tara become Ugra Tara.

In Nature too as long as we do our Yagya of protecting the forests

and animals and put new trees instead of dead/used ones…Tara remains

peaceful. When we only take from Nature and do not present her with

anna (soma-ahuti) she becomes UgraTara.

Tsunamis, earthquakes, global warming are all games of Ugra Tara

because we are disturbing the anna of Tara. So same Tara instead of

creation, becomes Ugra Tara and starts destruction.

So in a nut-shell we can say… Mother Kali manifests as Mother Tara

when creation starts and on the reverse action turns into Ugra-Tara

to destroy our solar system.

Mother Tara is very kind and is main devi of Tantriks be it hindus,

Boddha or others. Tara's other names are Tarini, Tarla, Trirupa,

Prabha, and Satwarupa. By Worship of Mother Tara one becomes

eligible for swimming across the ocean of manifested worlds. In

shakta Pramod Tantra there are ways to worship Tara and get her

siddhis. Tibetans have many special secret worships and mantras of

tara through which they gain miraculous Siddhis.

To worship Tara as a creating Mother, no mantra no Tantra is

required…just a bow and say

Jai Tara Maan

(Next we will see the 3rd Mahavidya Tripura Sundari)
