FREEDOM

One is restricted by all attachments of the mind. As one may hold

something in one's hand, one may hold something in the mind. Neither

are free. Both are bound by what is held. The experiences of this

world are like the grasping of things, one after another. From one

happiness, to the next, to the one after, and so on. That is not

freedom. Thus, abandon attachments.

Freedom: That which is free. This is the original nature of the

mind. In this state, one is able to act right at the right time.

Because one is without attachments, one can perform various actions

one after another. One must not grasp anything. There is no " I, " no

ego, nor " mine, " that is freedom. That is the freedom for the mind; it

is inherent Realization and the True Self. The True Self is already free.

Everything is the mind's soliloquy. One may not want to seek

liberation unless one experiences suffering, or a lack of freedom. In

this sense, life is learning. What is important is whether one learns

things from life's experiences correctly and then actualizes them or

not. The right teachings and the right gurus are sought because that

is the quickest way to liberation.
