ushapati 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2008 Mantra sadhana is very easy and powerful tool in fighting with desease. In Vedic science Jyotish we are able to see which Graha (planet) is responsible and cousing some disorders or disease. In Jyotish language we passing in our life thru many "dashas" (planetary periods). Every dasha have his own lord or planet who is in charge in that particular dasha period. If we say that we are going thru Guru (Jupiter) mahadasha, we know than that Guru is responisble in our life for 16 year period for some aspect in our life. When is Guru good and strong we enjoy great material or spiritual plesaures, depend of his placement in our natal chart, aspects, etc. When for example that Guru is weak and his placement is not good, and if other things confirm that Guru is malefic for us in natal chart and other charts, in that case period in Guru mahadasha will not be good for our health for example. In that case if we know that when Guru mahadasha come that wil be some risk for disease or some health disorders we can start practising mantra sadhana with Graha mantras (planetary mantras). In Jyotish science exist some rules for people who want practicing mantra sadhana for prevention or fight with desease. Mantra sadhana is practicing for lord of mahadasha which is active in our life right now. For example, if we are in Guru mahadasha we must practice mantra for Guru, that is our first choice. Second choice is mantra for lord of antaradasha (lord of second period). Mahadasha is big period and antaradasha is smaller period. For example we runing thru mahadsha of Guru and antaradasha of Shani (Saturn). In that case we practice mantras for Guru and for Shani because that two planets is responsible for some disorders or disease in our life in that moment. When that period finish we must start practicing mantra for new lord of new dasha. We not practicing any more mantra for dasha who is gone. This is short but very efective Bija mantras for every planet: Surya- OM HRAM HRIM HRAUM SAHA SURYAYA NAMAHA Chandra- OM SRAM SRIM SRAUM SAHA CHANDRAYA NAMAHA Mangal- OM KRAM KRIM KRAUM SAHA MANGALAYA NAMAHA Budh- OM BRAM BRIM BRAUM SAHA BUDHAYA NAMAHA Guru- OM GRAM GRIM GRAUM SAHA GURAVE NAMAHA Shukra- OM DRAM DRIM DRAUM SAHA SHUKRAYA NAMAHA Shani- OM PRAM PRIM PRAUM SAHA SHANISCHARAYA NAMAHA Rahu- OM BRAM BRIM BRAUM SAHA RAHAVE NAMAHA Ketu- OM SRAM SRIM SRAUM SAHA KETAVE NAMAHA On every day base sadhana minimum repetiton for mantra is one big mala (rosary) with 108 beads.
