Namaste,

I want to know whether we can find the character of a person by

studying his/her chart. What are the houses that one needs to consider

for arriving at a conculsion about a person's character/behaviour ?

Please guide me.

Namaste,

Basically You need to check the influence of tamas or sattvic

grahas on the Lagna. You check the position of Jupiter, and which

houses it aspects. You check the position of venus and mars,

their placements and relationships with each other if any.

You also have to check position of and relationship of Rahu and Moon

if any, if you find anything amiss in the aforesaid matters.

The above was for Character.

The way to check the Nature of a person pointwise can be understood as

under- (As taught by one of My Gurus)

1) Sign of the Ascendant

2) Lord of the Ascendant (Decides mental capacities of a person)

3) Planets deposited in the Ascendant (Only in the 1st Cusp)

4) Planets aspecting the Ascendant

5) Planets in Conjunction with the Ascendant Lord

6) Planets aspecting the Ascendant Lord

7) Navamsha lord of the Ascendant

8) Antardasha pati of the Ascendant

9) Star(Lord) occupied by the Antardasha pati of the Ascendant

10) Sign occupied by The Moon

11) Planets aspecting the Moon

12) Sign occupied by The Sun

13) Planets aspecting the Sun

14) Planets deposited in MC (meridian Cusp).

15) Planets deposited in 3rd House (Sub-Conscious Mind)

Hope this helps. I shall not be able to elaborate on any of the

above mentioned points.

regards,

Bhaskar.

Namaste.

That was coming. I expected that. But

I was in a hurry for my Snday retreat so left without

explaining that part. Just like You have Dasha Lord and

antardasha Lord for the Moon. Its the same for the ascendant.

In the KP system chart, its known as the Sub-Lord. which holds

key to the natives,persona,likes dislikes.For ex.if Jupiter

it may be lord of any house thats seperate matter, but being Jupiter

in itself would not loose its characteristics, in this case would

make the native tend towards Satwik. Native would not like to commit

any wrong, illegal act like rape, robbery ,embezzlement,

back stabbing etc. It would not be in his nature. If the sublord of

the ascendant is Venus for ex.would give native love for fine arts

and music naturally.

If Mars then more aggressive etc. Thus You have to check.

regards,

Bhaskar.
