One question that's been raised here is if Saturn aspects 1, 3,7 & 10

Houses away from where it is, then why does it influence the Moon on

both sides of the Moon during it's Transits?

 

When you watch the Transits each day you can discover the answer to

this and many other questions about Astrology.

 

I remember the very first time I discovered that Saturn really does

influence 3 houses away. I was watching the Moon and watched how I

felt as the Moon approached the position of Saturn in the Transits.

 

Let's say Saturn was in Taurus and the Moon was going through Aries.

You could begin to feel that unique Saturn flavor the closer and

closer the Moon came to Saturn.

 

Then, the Moon moved into the same space, (House), and that typical

Saturn intensity was the most intense. Then, the Moon continued on to

the other side of Saturn. And you could feel some remnant of that

Saturn experience but not nearly as much.

 

However, in a few more days the Moon gets to the next sign which is

that 3rd House away from Saturn. If Saturn's in Taurus, actually

let's use the present example of Saturn in Cancer.

 

So, when Saturn is in Gemini you may begin to feel that unique Saturn

flavor coming on. But, when the Moon moves directly into Cancer, and

then closer and closer to the exact degrees of Saturn/Cancer, you will

feel Saturn's strongest effects.

 

Then, the Moon moves into Leo and the direct influence of Saturn will

be gone. However, there is some residual flavor of this most recent

Saturn/Moon collission which may still be there.

 

Then the Moon will move away from Saturn even more when it goes into

Virgo. However, one day when I was watching the Moon I noticed when

it got to that 'next' sign I felt all the intense Saturn complications

of the last few days come back again.

 

Then, I realized..."Oh, my, that's the 3rd House aspect of Saturn."

Saturn is in Cancer now and casts it's 3rd House aspect directly into

Virgo. You count the Sign that Saturn is in, as #1, then the next

sign as 2, and the next sign as the 3rd house away. So, Saturn in

Cancer is #1, Leo is #2, and Virgo is that 3rd House away.

 

So, the aspects of Jyotish can be experienced and truely verified.

The Moon in Sade Sat can be verified too.

 

Watch the Moon over a couple of months, because each month the Moon

goes through a mini, 7 1/2 days! of Sade Sat!

 

When the Moon this year, gets into Gemini that's one 2 1/2 days of

Sade Sat. Saturn's on the other side of Saturn. Then, when the Moon

goes into Cancer, that's the main 2 1/2 days of the Monthly Sade Sat.

Finally, when the Moon goes to the other side of Cancer, and now that

means Leo, that represents the last 2 1/2 days of the Monthly sade sat!

 

Watch your experiences and they'll both confirm and give you greater

clarity about all these great Jyotish rules and principles.

Hello, I think is is not correct to say that Sadi Satie is from

the Lagna, it much be: a period of about 7.5 years in witch Saturn

passes the houses 12/1/2 as counted from the Natal Moon position,

generally a difficult period in one's life, and look good GENARALLY.

Sure this is also pedending on you Dasha-bhukti period and other

faxtors, sure it will not work like this for everbody, but it can also

make your life more clear as it set you on the right way, it is not

negatieve always it help you to get reday for the furure.

life and as a Vedic Astrologer i learn to tell the best and not the

worst in a persons life, give people hope.

Sani is a hard task master and makes u sweat ur way thru

 

it tests ur mettle before giving ur due and its results though

delayed will last as it shapes ur personality, removes rough edges and

make su stronger

for people willing to walk along half way but for the ones who sit

and brood, it sinks u down like a marsh land

 

but all said and done it does affect the mind more which is ruled

by mano karaka chandra and its 2. 1 ,.12 houses transit is crucial for it.

 

if u r running a strong dasa it shows some good results anyway

still with a delayed end result.

gives u more responsiblities, less remuniration but in long run

rich experience worth a lot more than money can buy.

 

ur concentration, understanding level between u and others and

vice versa will be tested severly and will fall too.

mother and her circles also suffer financial health set backs.

on e may live away from home, mother during its course. or be more

often away from home. and a lot more

People talk as is it is some sort of a major disaster. As a person,

who has been going through the so called "sade sati" let me say it was

nothing but ordinary. So stick to the basic rules.

 

1. Take lagna as the point of reference, not moon. We have good

calculators and dont have to rely on the moon any more. It was a

pracrice set in during old days - If u dont know ur lagna then tell me

your janma naksathra and let me take it from there. So remember ur lagna.

 

2. When will u have effects of a bhava. Take the bhava. if u are

looking at your career, take 10th lord. Take ur lagna lord. Take Ju

also into consideration and follow the rules. If the bhava lord.

a. transits the bhava or its thrikonas

b. transit the lagna rasi

c. transit the ashraya rasi of lagna lord.

d. transit the ashraya rasi of the bhava lord or its thrikonas.

e. lagna lord and bhava lord aspect each other or conjunct during

transit

f. If Ju during transit, aspects the natal bhava lord

Same applies for all the transits, including that of Saturns.

 

3. Now what is so horrible about sade sati ? Sa is slow moving and

indicates, troubles. When in 12,1 and 2 it tends to stay there for 2.5

years, during which Mo tends to have papa madhya sdhithi or papa

yogam(Moon being the karaka for mind, when having Sa on both sides

will cause mental troubles). That's it.

 

I dont know may be I am all chaos.

To add to that, I've also heard that first sade sati for a native

affects family more and second one affects the individual more?
