Guest guest
A very simpole thing that can be done for immune health is daily dose of chyavanprash. If one of our children gets sick I give chybanprash to the other three and they do not get sick or, get a mild version of what the first one got. If it is given daily for a few months, just like a daily vitamin the child's immunity will be boosted. He need only take a teaspoon a day. Chyavanprash is pretty good tasting too so I have never had a problem giving it to my children and the people whom I have suggested it to say their children have no troouble taking it. If need be, it can be put on toast like a jam. It is available in all Indian groceries. If there is not an Indian gorcery shop where she lives she can try to get her local grocery shop to bring it in. --- Gururaj Rao <honyakusha > wrote: > I am also looking for an ayurvedic practioner in the > Charlotte/Raleigh > area of North Carolina to suggest to my niece. Guest guest
I read the article about Actos on the address provided by Mr. Gururajarao. I really wonder what these researchers are up to and whoever pays them for these meaningless researches. I find one new research fact everyday in the newspapers. Oneday, they say, chocolates are good for health, the nextday they condemn their own research facts saying chocolates are bad. Tea is good today, it is bad tomorrow. The list goes countless. Today, I read a research group saying they don't see any supportive results of garlic reducing cholesterol. They are not really sure if it has got any medicinal effects. They are just mad. We better start looking into our own science and find answers for our problems. parvathi ayurveda, Gururaj Rao <honyakusha wrote: I am in my fifties and was diagnosed as a borderline diabetes > Type 2 about three years ago.
