Guest guest
coconut oil is a very cooling oil i would not use it in winter i have found that applying a paste of mung bean flour to the head and letting it dry slightly is useful. Once the flour has dried wash the babies hair. comb the hair often to lift of excess dry skin comb the hair slowly and make sure the comb lightly touches the surface of the scalp to help remove dry skin. a light application of sesame oil helps after to sooth the head. olive oil is a bit heavy and does not allow the dry skin to slough of. after the third month this problem is usually completely gone. Babies need to adjust to the dry world outside the womb and this takes time for some babies. --- lapd94 <lapd101 > wrote: > My 2-month old daughter has got very dry skin and > she also has cradle > cap.
