Guest guest
Dr Bhat, Is mercury a default ingredient in all Ayurveda "anti epileptic" medicines? Or can it be prepared without mercury? If so, would the absence of mercury affect the effectiveness of the medicine? And can you please share your input on a current theory that says "mercury causes autism" in young children? http://www.nationalautismassociation.org/thimerosal.php Thanks & regards, Amrutha amrutha_naveen ayurveda, "Shirish Bhate" <shirishbhate wrote: > > mercurial preparations that have been used in Ayurveda on a large > scale but have not been discontinued on the fear of their > unpopularity (as they are metals and the fear of ingesting metals). > The reasons are explained in the links > > ayurveda/message/1389 > > ayurveda/message/2837 > > Even Ras-sindur about which you have asked in another post is a > similar preparation.
