Guest guest
hi matthew there is no useful blood test for candida because it is a normal component of the human flora candida = ama, or rather (before dr. venugopal gets on my case ;-), ama is the condition on which candida thrives eliminate ama and the candida issue will be resolved the basic program is no dairy (butter OK), flour products, sugar and other sweeteners, fruit and fermented foods for 2-4 weeks, after which you can add back in one piece of half-sweet fruit per day, and then follow this for 2-3 months useful herbs include pau darco, neem, ginger, echinacea, garlic, sweet annie, triphala, trikatu or pretty much any bitter and pungent tasting herbs that destroys ama (amapachana) also helpful is a probiotic and a good fiber supplement with a balance of soluble/insoluble fibers like flax best...
