Guest guest Report post Posted February 27, 2007 Gotta love when Amma answers your thoughts without you realizing it. I have finally started doing archana of the 108 names of Devi in the puja book every day, at least once a day. Today when I got done, the thoughts arose of "am I doing enough? Is this enough to please Mother? Am I enough?" and the answering voice of "Of course it's enough, if your heart is in it" and the battle continued for a good 10 minutes or so. I've found fairly often, after archana, I'll have one name stuck in my head that just repeats, like a song you get stuck in your head. Usually it's just the name itself, without the om or namaha, and I will use the full name as my japa for that day, figuring there is a reason that it's stuck in my head. During my mental argument, one name started popping into my head, "moha nashinyai", and given that it was happening during my doubts, I decided to look in my puja book for what it means. Om moha nashinyai means "Saluatations to the Mother Who cures the delusions of Her devotees". So I started actively repeating the mantra in my mind as I got ready for school and by the time I left, the thoughts of "am I enough? am I doing enough to please Mother?" had calmed back into the recesses of my mind. Amma's little hints are wonderful, and it helped me realize that my thought of "if a name gets stuck in my head after archana, it's probably for a reason" is on the right track.
