Guest guest
Namashkar Quantum mechanics(QM) says there is a field of Energy, called zero point, in which all activity takes place. QM has already shown everything is energy. The trees, Earth, our bodies, all our energy. When we move from one place to another, it is the energy that moves. In fact, moving is just an illusion. For example, when we watch TV, we see the hero walk across screen. Yet the hero doesnt go anywhere- just the colors on the screen changing in ways that makes it seem like hero is moving. In the same way, when we move, its just the underlying electrons(or smaaler things called quarks) that move, & we think we are moving. Actually, the elctrons dont move. When an electron moves from A to B, the electron at position A vanishes, & reappears *at the same time* on position B. By the way, this isnt a theory, but a well tested fact. So when I move from A to B, its actually my electrons that magically reappearing. This happens so fast, & at such small distances, that we get the impression we are moving, yet we arent. Now scientists say that all this process is random. But how can such beauty be maintained by randomness? If at th etime of big bang, the universe, moving at about millions of miles per seconds, had been off even a second, no galaxies, stars or life could have formed. But, we can also say the Universe is aware, even the electron. This is seen in the double slit experiment(where an electron somehow guesses which of the 2 slits to choose). Scientists explain this with a complicated logic of proabilities, but it is easier if we assume the electron is conciouss. So there must be some universal Conciousness underlying all this, that knows when each & every electron in the world moves. In Tantra, this was called Shiva, the Brahm of Vedant. As I said when we move from 1 place, it is merely electrons that reappear at another place. But then, when we die, it simply means the electrons fail to reappear at one place, but may appear at another(heaven?). More importantly, since the Universal Consciousness is aware of everthing, all the billions of electrons/protons colliding, interacting, it can at any time make any particular set of energies appear & dissapear at will. In simple terms, Shiva creates & destroys the worlds by just his thought! So people who rise to level of Shiva can do the same. If you want to see Krishna giving Arjun the Gita, you just have to recreat the electrons/protons at the stage they were at the time. The Universal Conciousness, Shiv, remembers everything, so this is very easy for Him. Western mystics have dubbed this the Akashic field, which is very appropiate as all this occus in Akasha or Ether(or empty space), the 5th element of Sankhya Yoga. Why, then, are we so scared of death? Our life is just a stream of conciousness flowing along Natures river. (I have condensed these ideas from Deepak Chopras book Life after Death, which you read if you found this interesting). Shantnu
Guest guest
Om Nama Shivaya. Fantastic subject ShantnuJI. Its our mind which still doesnot accept this point, yes it can be justified by QM, appearing and reappearing in another place. But does QM explain why we feel pain, fear, joy, Love...... In a way QM does suggest to get out of this MAYA illusion, but then the ageing factor of living things bodies is unexplained. Even if we agree with QM since the body suffers we fear for death, since the appearing and moving can be visualised but the reapearing cannot be visualised(after death). The Movie " Matrix " tried to explain something similar, even the film "the myth" by jackie chan tried to explain something similar. Nice subject which needs more discussions. I will try to read this book. Thanks for your information ShanracerJI. Shivaya Namah Aum. Thiruchitrambalam. Senthil.
Guest guest
Thanks Senthil for your comments. > QM explain why we feel pain, fear, joy, Love...... It doesnt, because QM says these electrons are dead. Until they accept a Univeral Conciousness that underlies all phenomena, they will be stuck. >appearing and moving can be visualised but the reapearing cannot be > visualised(after death). It can, if you are fully enlightened, or awake. > The Movie " Matrix " tried to explain something similar, even the > film "the myth" by jackie chan tried to explain something similar. Many have approached this theme , yet other than Hindu Tantra, no one has explained it so fully, or so beautifully.

Guest guest
Om Nama shivaya. BabaJi and ShanracerJi, Q.M or tantra asserts that the world is an illusion / Maya. Does this mean it discourages us and our efforts to self-discover, considering illusion of Maya is Maya itself. Aren't our thoughts it self is an illusion/Maya? Babaji you wonderfully said science starts from Matter and ends in matter, but Q.M or Tantra does go by the existance and co-existance of Supreme consiousness and consiousness. In one of the article i read it say "The brain is defined by two superimposed systems: a classical system, governed by classical laws, and a quantum system, governed by quantum laws. The first system corresponds to the unconscious cerebral activities, while the second corresponds to the consciousness and to conscious mental processes." This is how body and mind are related in Q.M. Does this match with our Tantric JI? Thanking you for the wonderfull discussions. Shivaya Nama Aum. Thiruchitrambalam. Senthil. Guest guest
Scientists have a Tamoguni disbelief/distrust of anything beyond the physical world- they are so hypotised by their own small successes they refuse to accept anything else. They say mind is a function of the brain- showing cat scans to show how thinking changes brain. But Chopra, who him self is a MD, says thats like you see footprints on the sand, & say their is no such thing as feet, that the sand is the feet. Yet the footprints merely show that someone walked on the sand. Similarly, all these cat scans just show the "footprints" of the mind on the physical brain, they dont show the actual mind. Osho said it best. He said that just because one scientists saw the world as objective, every scientist says the world is objective. But the Truth is subjective, & by refusing to accept the subjective, scientist are limitng their own field. This is especially true in QM, where the observer changes the result of the experiment. How then can the truth be objective? Finaaly, I found this excellent quote: "Can it really be said that before the day of our pretentious science, humanity was composed solely of imbeciles & the superstitious? Senthil, Tantra never says the world is an illusion. You are confusing Tantra with Shakaracharyas Adwait Vedant. Tantra says since Shiv is real, all his emanations are real too. So the World is real. One of Tantras main features is Yoga & Bhoga simultaneoulsy- neither is to be denied, nor are we to to take any one to the extreme. In fact Tantra is the only philosophy which does not deny anything in the world..rather it tells us why and how of every philosophy. Tantra says the Brahmm is real, Shakti is real and all their manifestations are real. It tells us how the matrix of world is woven, and how to get out of it...how to realise the Supreme, and how to come back to world, fully enlightened...and work then as Master and not as Slaves love baba
