Is there any temple of Bagalamukhi in Trivandrum - kerala

Namaste Atj, speaking of walking on a blade with sharp edge, there is

a Kali temple in Kolkata where women go to throw ghee balls on the

walls to find husbands or pray for fulfillment in love. There are

many aspects to Kali worship. It dones not mean strictly Tantric.

There is the right hand path and the left hand path. I'm not talking

left hand path here.

 

There are yogis and ordinary people in Malaysia (Penang and Kuala

Lumpur) and Singapore where they carry the Kavadi during Thaipusam to

thank and pay respects to Lord Murugan each year. As you might know,

even children and women in these countries carry Kavadi in the

processions. How come they have no pain when skewers of iron, milk

pots, heavy cages, tongue piercers, etc are put in their bodies to

carry for many hours? They feel no pain at all because of their faith

and bhakti. After the implements are removed, there is no blood and

no scars. I heard these are done with mantras and many of the

ordinary people did not have gurus to learn mantras from.
