PANDIT DEV MAHARAJ IS RIGHT!

WE SHOULD PROTECT DHARMA, ONLY FOR THE CAUSE OF SAVING MANKIND

FROM FURTHER DEGRADATION, FOR THE SAKE OF FUTURE GENERATION, SINCE

OUR RISHIS DID THIS FOR US, NOW ITS OUR TURN TO DO SOMETHING FOR

FUTURE GENERATION.WHO KNOWS WHO OF US WOULD BE REBORN MAY NEED THIS

DHARMA FOR ATTAINING MOKSHA AGAIN.

THIS DOESNT MEAN WE SHOULD WAGE A WAR, BUT SHOULD FIGHT AGAINST

INJUSTICE.

EVEN OUR GREAT RISHIS WHO LIVED IN THE FOREST

FOR THE SAKE OF ATTAINING KNOWLEDGE BENEFICIAL TO MANKIND,

YES THEY DID CARRY TRISHUL, AXE, BOW-ARROW, SWORDS.

THESE WEAPONS HOWEVER DIDNT MEANT FOR KILLING INNOCENT ANIMALS AND

HUMANS.

BUT FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELF DEFENCE, FOR DEFENCE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS,

FOR THE DEFENCE OF DHARMA.

WHY DID SHRI PARASHURAMA DESTROYED THE KSHATRIYAS?

WHY DID SHRI RAMA DESTROY RAVANA AND THE RAKSHASA?

WHY DID SHRI KRISHNA KILL KAMSA?

WHY DID SHRI KRISHNA HELPED PANDAVAS IN THEIR WAR AGAINST KAURAVAS?

WHY DID GODDESS KALI, LAXMI, SARASWATI APPEAR AND DESTROYED ASURAS?

WHY DID LORD SHIVA APPEARED EVERY TIME AND DESTROYED DEMONS AND

ESTABLISHED JYOTIRLINGAS?

WE SHOULD NOT CLOSE OUR EYES AND SAY GOD WILL PROTECT US.

JAI SHANI DEV,

OM NAMAH SHIVAYA.

I personally think we are getting agitated for things beyond our control.May be it is ONLY THE FEW TRULY DEVOTED who get to go to Mount Kailas.May be if Mount Kailas was in Mumbai/Delhi etc,I wonder how many would havereally cared to pay pilgrimage.we have so many revered shrines all over in this PUNYABHOOMI of ours. How well are they being maintained? How many of us care to develop them ?How many of us contribute our time/energy/money to popularise them ?.

Like someone said, first deserve then desire, Somewhere in the book law

of karma, i had read, that never ask for divine justice, or you might

have to pay for it through your nose, they say we have so many pending

sanchit karma's left...that even if we do get liberated....it can be

disastrous............Let god decide for you what is right for you and

what is wrong.............in fact god knows best.........

They say.....god has an arrangement for almost everyone............

In fact we all do get there....but some reach very very late and some

reach early.......as the will of god........

kanishk

Dear friend prasad,

Your explanation on Mount Kailasha is truly practical.

" A BIRD IN HAND IS WORTH TWO IN THE BUSH"

Its is better we should care for the temples and sites we have

with us, in India, rather than cry over that which we have lost

due to ignorance. We should take a lesson for :"Mount Kailash"

as to how we should take care of our heritage so that the same doesnt

repeat with rest of our Pilgrimage sites.

my observations :

we have a very old temple/s Tanjore Siva temple Bradesswara (built by raja raja chola - king ,which did not have abishek everyday.

need plenty of water and I have seen many temples in hundreds in tanjore , Kumbakonams in and around in TN where hundreds of shivalingas did not have daily abishek .

Siva Lingas means abishek is a must. He gets cooled only with simple abishek.

Like human with out water is impossible.

I feel very bad ,angry and sad .when many deities did not have proper daily ritulas every day (except few)which are ages (yugas old ) which were maintanined by Rajas in old days .

who is responsible can individuls/family take care for one per God ?

and that is why this society is suffering for drinking water.

But we say ,we are developing in INDIA .in what ..................................? forgetting old ritulas and culture ...............beacuse it did not give money results immedietly for this generations...............

On that subject, I came across a posting in another group about an

organization called R.E.A.C.H Foundation. This organization is made up

of volunteers and they do exactly what you are concenred about,

clean/renovate old temples and bring them back to daily use. I have

contacted them last week about making contributions. They seem to be

very nice people. I git responses to my email queries immediately unlike

some other organizations who put up their websites and do not even

bother to update them for years....and never reply when emailed. I am

including their contact information below. Let us as a group contribute

whatever we can to such organizations. We all seem to be concerned about

how things are moving as far as our ancient heritae is concerned. I

brought a similar subject earlier about suporting as a group, schools or

pathshalas that teach Vedas, but did not find much support.
