What happened to Aurangzeb When he launched an attack on Khandoba temple !

Lord Khandoba, Malhar, Jyothiba are said to be reincarnations of

Lord Shiva.

 

When one turns pages of History, and goes back to Chatrapati Shivaji

Maharaj's rule, we come accross one story about LORD KHANDOBA (LORD

SHIVA'S INCARNATION)

 

Mughal Emperor Aurangazeb launched an attack on Jejuri fort, near Pune

in Maharashtra.

The Killedar of the fort in Jejuri could not hold on against Aurangazebs

army, he was killed and finally Aurangazeb and his men were successeful

in capturing the fort.

 

Here inside this fort is a famous shrine dedicated to LORD KHANDOBA,

Aurangazeb decided to destroy this temple.

 

He ordered his men to blow this temple using dynamite.

His men started punching holes in the foundations of the temple and

filled it up with explosives.

 

Suddenly there Lord Shiva appeared in front of Aurangazeb in disguise as

an old man and he warned Aurangzeb of dire consequences.

 

But Aurangzeb ignored this warning and the work didnt stop.

When his men finished their work, and was about to ignite, a swarm of

bees started pouring out of one of the hole, the whole area was covered

with humming bees and they stung Aurangzebs men so badly, that they

started running for their lives, Even Aurangzeb had to run and he soon

realized how foolish he was, he went to the Old man, and said, "Please

save me, I have realize my mistake, I am sorry for what i have done",

Just save us.

 

The Old man suggested, "Make a vow to Lord Khandoba that you will

offer a golden bee of 2.5 kilos approx" and beg appology for your

misdeeds.

 

And Aurangzeb did as told to him. Soon the bees disappeared, and

as promised, Aurangazeb offered the Golden bee to this temple. Even

today one can see Golden bee offered by Aurangazeb in this Temple.

 

THIS STORY TELLS US HOW LORD PROTECTS HIS PLACES OF WORSHIP WHEN IT

IS REQUIRED. AURANGAZEB OR ANY ONE WHO WILL GO AGAINST DHARAMA, LORD

WILL SEND KINGS LIKE SHIVAJI MAHARAJ, TO PROTECT RELIGION.

 

SHRI SHIVAJI MAHARAJ HAD ONLY FEW HANDFULL OF HIS TRUSTED LOYAL SOLDIERS

ON WHOM GODESS BHAVANI AND LORD SHIVA HAS BLESSED.

 

THUS SHRI SHIVAJI MAHARAJ CRIPPLED AND SHOOK THE ENTIRE MUGHAL KINGDOM

FOR EVER, AURANGAZEBS WHOLE ROYAL TREASURY BECAME EMPTY BY FIGHTING WITH

SHIVAJI MAHARAJ'S MEN AND THEN SHIVAJI MAHARAJ ESTABLISHED HINDAVI

SWARAJ.
