Guest guest
The RAma story in the Mahabharata Vana Parva retold by MArkaNdeya states that BrahmA directed a "gandharvi" named Dundubhi to be born as MantharA to fulfil the designs of the gods for the killing of RAvana. You can see the translation by Dr P.Lal with my Introduction published recently by Writers Workshop Kolkata (they have a website). About RAvana, the best work is by AchArya Chatursen ShAstri, named "Vayam RakshAmah" in Hindi, 2 volumes. C. Bulcke's "RAmkathA" will give you all the variations in the RAma myth. Guest guest
Dear Pradipji, Jay Jinendra There is also the Ravana Samhita which has some references to Ravana. But Acarya Caturasena's "Vayam RaksamaH" is very good indeed. yours M > >
