Hi, I was wondering if Amma ever specifically said anything about Yogananda, what she thought of him.

Also I was kinda wondering what those who follow Amma think of Ananda Moyi Ma, since they both are called the Incarnation of the Divine Mother.

One more question, is this the mian Amma forum on the net or are there others?

Jai Guru,

Jai Ma,

Peace,

Piko

Namah Shivaya Piko,

A long-time Amma devotee, a friend of mine, told me that he had been a devotee of Anadamoyi Ma in the 70s and 80s. Finding it hard without his Guru in physical form after some years, he came to Amma.

Much as he loved Amma, he had this feeling of being disloyal to his Guru. While he was struggling with that, though he didn't say anything about it, Amma told him one day that both Anandamoyi Ma and She were one and the same. At that instant, his doubts vanished. Hope this helps.

I've observed (both by normal observation, and by reading direct answers to questions by many saints) that great masters rarely make comments upon others, whether they're other Mahatmas, especially living Mahatmas, or regular people (unless it's a close disciple, who needs to be corrected). They may say something for the benefit of one or more people, when asked a question very specifically.

I don't know if Amma said anything about Yogananda, but She visited his ashram in India, saw his room with personal effects etc, on an invitation from the monks there recently. I saw it on an Amrita TV program.
