vivek_prayag 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2007 There is always a criticism against the idol worshippers that they r just worshipping stones.But I feel that even if parmatma hasn't any form ,the parmatma cann't influence the world without acquiring any form? theist 1 Report post Posted February 22, 2007 Impersonal energy cannot manifest anything on it's own. That is thr ole of the energetic source and director of that energy. With the touch of the Supreme Energetic acting upon & through His unlimited energies anything is possible. First thing that must be understood is that there is an Energetic Intelligent Being behind the Brahman, who caused the Brahman and who periodically agitates the brahman to give off this illusion of forms we call the material world. IOW's the impersonal energy cannot manifest as anything, murti or otherwise, on it's own. Only with Krsna's touch can it do anything but just BE.
