Guest guest Posted February 17, 2007 Report Share Posted February 17, 2007 hello to all. i would like to know if there are any ayurvedic remedies i could do at home to loose weight. at the moment i am 10 stone and my appearance is what my weight suggests...very plump...i wish to gain a slim and muscled body. can anyone help? i heard that cinnamon and honey is supposed to be helpful. i also heard something about 'things' in your body being unbalanced leading to obecity. i would be most greatful if someone could give me some ayurvedic remedies...and if anyone knows any good websites that could help i would be most geatful! thankyou all! Prabhu there is no quick fix to this and taking a remedy is not going to really help honestly! I would recommend eliminating any rubbish from your diet, ...white sugar, white flour, saturated fat, unrefined starchy carbs, and eat wholesome foods including lots of fruit and veg. That combined with some increase in exercise with yeild consistent steady weight loss. If you have the will power I would recommend a juice fast where you take just fruit and vegetable juices (from a juicer NOT bought bottled juice) for 30 days. The vitamins ,minerals, carbs, protiens and enzymes will nourish your body, your digestive system will rest allowing your body to heal itself and rejuvinate, and you will lose a lot of fat. I actually did this myself and was very suprised that I maintained my strength and lean muscle mass while losing plenty of fat,(exercise helps lose fat instead of losing lean tissue).
