Guest guest
Dear Mark, Considering the exact condition according to ayurveda as "Urdwagata amla pitta" where the vitiated pitta dosha gets accumulated in the amashaya(Stomach). The very fundemental treatment principle here is to eliminate this dosha from stomach by means of vamana (Induced emesis).Unless vamana is done,no shamana medicines are useful. For which there is no necessory for the poorva karmas(Like snehapana, swedana).Because the dosha(drava pitta) already accumulated in the stomach.Herbs like Patola,Nimba(Tikta rasa, pittahara, rooksha) are to be used for emesis. After emesis performed next day you may start shamana medicines like Avipatti churna,Draksadi churna,Yastimadhu churna,Laghu sutashekhar ras,Leela vilas ras,Dadimavaleha,Drakshadi vati, etc... in accordense to condition ,accetabilty of the patient and availability of the medicines. Besides these medicines pathya ahara vihara are too very important. Feel free to ask ,in case you didn't follow ayurvedic terms in this post. _________ Does anyone have suggestions of how to deal with the above.
