Guest guest
Hi, This is a Bhadraksha rudraksha found in South India from same tree that produces the half moon shape one mukhi and large flat 2 mukhi Bhadraksha. I have bought several of these types from Rameshwaram last year when I went hunting for rudrakshas to India. Some have 3 and some have more petals. And no wonder they costed a mere INR 400-1000. I can see several carved beads (having Om, Ganesha, Trident) at Mr. Agrawal's website. These are quite interesting ones to see as "Mr. Agarwal can make beads which even nature can't". Guest guest
He is charging 1,20,000 Rs which is equivalent to 2790 US. I also inquired about it from the owner of Agarwal Rudraksha Bhandar, he says it is a very precious and rare bead. He has got one piece with five petals. According to him it is a rudraksha which represents Mahalaxmi. His bead is not for sale. Guest guest
Dear Sir, I will be delighted to see them because what i photographed is not a Bhadraksha. Secondly the origin is Nepali and not South India. As far as Agarwal Rudraksha Bhandar is concerned the photographs are original and they are not the so called carved beads. Please remember that you cannot proclaim the unavailability of an object, just because you have not seen it. There are thousands of things that do exist in this world. I myself have seen so many beads carrying an om formation. There is nothing unnatural in it as it is sometimes present in even the cheapest beads of five mukhis. Guest guest
Dear Alok and friends, Kamal bead with all the five opened petals is extremely rare. However, Kamal rudraksha with one or two opened petals though rare is available. Most of the time, Kamal rudraksha is available in Rameshwar variety of rudraksha and is very rare in Nepal variety. In a book 'Rudraksha' published by Chinmaya Mission, Mumbai, a picture of Kamal Rudraksha with two opened petals is given under the name Trijuti. I personally feel it is not correct to mention that bead as Trijuti and is in fact a Kamal Rudraksha or Lotus rudraksha. With best wishes, Chandrashekhar Phadke Chandrashekhar Phadke a_jagawat <a_jagawat > wrote: He is charging 1,20,000 Rs which is equivalent to 2790 US.
