How to calculate Atmakarka and POSITION OF MARS?

I am hearing for first time mars bad in 6th house, for that mattter

any malefic(but not strong malefics) in 6th house is good.

You are right, but it can affect the health aspect of the house

(jeeva) and maternal uncle. Not just by that one factor but the alert

goes up. So that which is contrary and antagonistic to the nativity is

adversely affected (desiredly/desiringly) by the malefic (stronger the

better) but that which is dear and part of body represented by the

house is affected adversely. Makes sense because no house is unmixed

really, and no planet either!!
