Do I have kaal Sarpa Yog ?

Dear Vincent,

If lagna is falling in between Aries to Leo, the situation will be the same as I mentioned earlier. If Aries, you are moving in clockwise direction through Taurus, Gemini etc. and see the first node in Virgo which is coming at reverse direction towards the lagna. If lagna is on the other side i.e., from Aquaris to Libra and all other planets are in between Aries and Virgo, then there is no KAY or KSY as the basic rule that all the planets including lagna should be in between the nodes, is not met. Always see the planet which comes first from Lagna in clockwise direction and that is the leading node. If it is Kethu, then it is KAY and if Rahu it is KSY. If Rahu, then the head is coming at you which is quite harmful (KSY). If Kethu, then the tail is coming at you and the head has already passed. If the given situation the head of the snake is in Pisces and the body lies through Aries, Taurus etc. ending with the tail at Virgo and the lagna lies within the body.

Hope the learned gurujis shall concur with my style of interpretation of KSY/KAY.

Regards

Ravi Nair

Dear Ravi Nair,

I am sorry that I did not specify the ascendant for both examples.

Suppose in example 1 and 2 the Lagna is Aries, so which one is KSY.

I hope you can guide me in learning the vedic science.

Thank you

Regards.

be flanked either side by Rahu and Kethu (for KSY) and Kethu and

Rahu (for KAY). Need to consider reverse movement. From Lagna in

clockwise direction if Rahu is coming first, then Rahu is moving

towards Lagna in reverse direction and it is KSY. If Kethu is

coming first from Lagna, then it is KAY.
