When she was a child it was found that she had high

thyroid so radiation was done on the thyroid.

Since then it has been low.

She had a cyst on her ovarie when she was fourteen and

was on the pill until she was 28 - nine months ago.

She went off the pill and had normal menstruation for

six months and has not had a period for the past three

months.

She began gaining weight around three months ago on

the abdoman, neck and face.

She has hair loss and acne around her mouth.

She feels weak in the arms and legs.

I suggested to her to massage her throat and she says

this has made her feel a lot better - throat and

glands look smaller.

She complains of digestive problems so has been on

a regime of ginger in the morning and triphala at

night.

She is doing bastrika pranayama and normal deep

breathing twice a day.

One of my Vaidya associates had put her on ark powder

twice a day.

She had also been taking ashwagandha that helped with

the acne but that is no longer effective.

She is also taking cinnamon tea and hibiscus tea twice

daily.

This is giving her more energy.

She is very afraid of the weight gain and lack of

menstruation.
