Guest guest
Volunteers for Circle of Love Inside write to a young Christian man in prison in Indiana. When his buddy Bradley's mother died at the end of 2005, leaving Bradley with no more family outside prison, our inmate correspondent told his mom what a hard time Bradley was having. His mom asked Circle of Love Inside for letters for Bradley. In fact, Bradley wrote to us himself. Several letter writers volunteered. On February 3, a letter came from Bradley. He wrote, "Thank you so much for your help. I have so many people writing to me. It's more mail than I've ever received since my father died. It has been one lonely ride. I'm hoping that I can take all of your kindnesses and use them to make me a kinder person. I am a selfish and angry young man. I have a kind heart but I have too much pent up anger." Then he told about a daydream he had about doing a kind deed. The daydream remnded him of a time when he really did share what he had with a homeless man. He continued "I do have kindness within me but I'd forgotten how beautiful this world truly can be. I'm not used to people being kind to me. I've rarely been given anything in prison, so this letter writing that's occurred, it's such a blessing. Thank you so much." Circle of Love Inside is now receiving two or three new requests for letters per day.
