Guest guest
Namashkar, With all the discussion on the Ramayan, dont forget that the basic hidden truths of the Ramayan are very ancient, & get repeated every Yuga. Ramayan is based on key ideas found in the Rig Veda. So Sita is actually a Vedic Godess. In the Rig Veda, she is found by Indra when he is tilling the ground. In Ramayan, Janak, like Indra a powerful king, tills the ground to find Sita. Sita represents our inner female/loving energies, that are hidden in the hard earth(our outer logical mind). They have to brought out when the King of Indriyas(Indra, or the Divine Mind) removes the Tamoguni Earth that is hiding our inner Sita. Similary, the legend of Ram & Hanuman is similar to a verse in the Veda where Indra takes the help of half man, half monkey being called Vrishkapi. I have forgotten the details & the actual passage, if anyone knows pls remind me. Shantnu
