What else does ayurveda say about that? I have wondered some since lots of the foods mentioned in the texts I have read are hard to get or not available or totally unfamiliar here. Yet others are common since Louisiana is a hot semi-tropical (here anyway) climate. I read a book on blood types and diet and think it was a little off, but also I have studied folklore and know that people may say they have one reason for eating a food, then later it turns out to have been the perfect choice because that food kills parasites, for example. Can you talk more about that? Darla
