Guest guest
Dear Dr. Venu Gopal, I appreciate your emphsising the point that Rheumatoid Arthritis and Amvata are not same. But Sir, If we go on like this perhaps we will not be able to co-relate most of the Ayurvedic Diseases in the modern science language. It is just like literally translating one language to the other one, which may not always be possible. But this is the nearest that one can go to, when explaining the disorder. The mere need of comparison is, that today most of us do corelate the disease Rheumatoid Arthritis to the joint disorders but only a Scant few know what Amavata is. We have to talk the language of the audience to make them understand or else there will be no communication. Any ways, being an ayurveda man myself I know even two ayurvedists will not easily agree with the others' view point. May be one reason why people are talking of standardizing not the ayurvedic medicines as such, but ayurveda itself. Kindly be a little considerate, of the little, people like me, know of Ayurveda, before starting to condemn or criticise altogether. With Warm Regards, Dr. Sanjay Sharma "Dr. Venu Gopal M.D (Ayurveda)" <dr_venug > wrote: Dear Darla, Many thanks for your inputs. Many Ayurvedists round the world are being consider Amavata as Rheumatoid arthritis straightly. Despite their considerations, I strongly deny this.
