Guest guest
I worked with a very young ayurveda doctor.. infact with little experience just fresh out of college. he used to carry out shirodhara on me with buttermilk. one time the buttermilk was so cold, it appeared to be out of refrigerator. kind of chilly. and you wont believe the agitation it caused me, the aggravation and tha pain. i remember i was about to cry out. it made me angry and lots of emotions. the therapy went for 1 hour. it was not relaxation. it was torture. i believe that third eye region is very sensitive. and even a slight variation in temperature can either improve or aggrave the problem. my 10 cents............. Thanks Jay __________ > I am working with a client that has high vatta and is getting agitated, crying and getting headaches within the first 5 mins. of the pour. What is the proper thing to do? Guest guest
Dear Jennifer Why don't you provide the details. How do you expect answer for precised querry. "What does mean by High vata in this case???,what oil you are using for shiro dhara ??. It is quite evident that your approach of treatment looks inapproprite If you do dhara there should not be head ache which was not previously. Never expect answer without detailing.. Not all the case dealt similarly.. Every case is different than other..Not every oil suits for every disease and every individual of the same disease.Pleae realise that...Its all case dependent. I have done several hundreds of dhara..No client complained head ache. ayurveda, "Jennifer Taylor" <jennifer wrote: > I am working with a client that has high vatta and is getting agitated, > crying and getting headaches within the first 5 mins. of the pour.
