Guest guest
Aum Amriteswaryai Namah, My youngest brother, Bobby, is the sweetest soul i have known. Love is all through his being. Bobby just turned 44 and he has cerebral palsy as well as being severely retarded. He functions in the realm of a toddler and doesn't have very much understanding of the reasons for why things happen. My parents, in their 80's, have finally had to place him in a home because they just couldn't take care of him physically any more. Much anguish on everyone's part accompanied this decision, and little Bobby doesn't understand such things. The home he was placed in is one of the types that is run more as a business rather than as a family. My folks have been looking for a more loving environment for him and yesterday, his case worker called to tell them that she has found another home, a family home that the people that run it are a family with their own children and one other "client", an autistic girl. Bobby's case worker is going to try to get Bobby into this home, a more loving family home and closer to my parents. I have been praying to Amma to help smooth the way to allow this to happen. If any of you have a second or two to send love and a prayer for this to all those involved, it would be so appreciated. Guest guest
Aum Amriteswaryai Namah, Dear Mike, I understand your worries. My youngest sister is also in a home due to her schizophrenia so I know how hard it is when we have to find a home for a family member we love so dearly. I will keep him in my prayers and pray that he is welcomed into a warm, loving environment in which he can flourish. I also work with special need teens (several with the same diagnosis as your brother) and many of our kids have to be placed in care centers. They are typically very very loving and it's an honor to be with them. They teach us so much about LOVE. Do not have any worries. There are great homes/care centers,-out there that can meet his needs and I am sure that through Amma's loving grace, that he will cared for. in Amma's loving grace, Adriane Ammachi, "Mike Montoya" <dustygain wrote: > > Aum Amriteswaryai Namah, > > My youngest brother, Bobby, is the sweetest soul i have known.
