Guest guest
The website which you have mentioned is recommended by Ananda and it seems to be authentic. If you are a SRF member then you can get the bangle from their HQ in LA which might be a cheaper option from what I have heard ... There is a story that Swami Sri Yukteswar had a Navratna Bangle although I can't see how one can set gems in three metals strands entwined togheter. I had seen an old posting on a group where some Bengali person had described this as an 'triloha' ( tri =3 ; loha =metal.) It seems Swami Sri Yukteswar used different formulas but SRF / Ananda are making these bangles using a standard formula. plz check the post on other group > > --- <gg_0202@> wrote: > > > > > ||Jai Ramakrishna|| > > > Dear Learned Members, > > > The proportion of gold, silver & copper for the > > > astrological bangle > > > (or better known as "Triloha" in bengali). There are > > > two varities:- > > > 1)Gold-25 part,Silver-16 part & copper-10 part > > > 2)GOld-10 part, Silver, 16 part & Copper-12 part. > > > Any of these "formula" should never be melt > > > together, but should be > > > tied with each other like a ring. > > > Thanq > > > Gaurav > > > sacred-objects, "alstrup" <alstrup wrote: > > Namaskar > > Does anyone here has any experience with the gold/silver/copper pure > metal astrological bangle, as described by Sri Paramhansa Yogananda, > author of the spiritual classic Autobiography of a Yogi? > > I found what appears to be a trustworthy manufacturer of this bangle at > > http://www.astrological-bangles.com/ > > Thank you for any input. >
