Guest guest
I have a question regarding a major contradiction in the Gita. As we study Lord Krishnas life we all know that he was a warrior and he protected the innocent and weak as well as fought against evil tyrants of his day. In the beggining of the Gita he encourages Arjuna to do his royal duty and fight for rightousness. Then why does he in several places in the Gita give the advice that non violece is purity. It contradicts his life and the actual reason for teaching of the Gita. I am confused.

His actions are beyond maya. we should learn to become stithparagna. this is somone who finds God unaffected and pure in all His actions. He does not have yogya or ayogya lila. Shri Krishna in the Bhagwat is talking about us humans in the gita. that we should follow the path of non violence. A kshatriys dharm is to look after all the varnas. Thats their VArna Ashram Dharm. But those who seek Supreme reality in the correct manner specified by God then he becomes nirgun and does noviolence and becomes pure. The Mahabharat is there t oteache us. God came as a lion, boar etc. Did His work and went. Thats how it is.

Lord Krishna was God in human form but he also led a very human life since he came as a human. Therefore, his actions must match his teachings. Also, varna has very little to do with Gitas teaching. I dont think Gitas teachings are about caste. I think thats just a ploy for castiest Hindus to portray it that way so they can continue with their racist non-sense.
