Akiane's online art gallery is

http://www.artakiane.com/ She seems Christian to the

hilt, so don't bet on her even wanting to know about

Amma, let alone getting Amma's darshan.

WOW this child prodigy is so amazing. If you any of you have not

checked out these links on her works, I encourage you to do so. It

will astonish you.

And just a thought, I would not jump to the conclusion because this

child is "Christian" that she would have no interest in AMMA!

LOL..There have been nuns, priest and one nun in St. Louis-even

written about in one of the books about Amma, who LIVED at the

ashram! ....! She draws people from ALL faiths and backgrounds. I

was raised Catholic and I am sure many on here are as diverse as the

population at large and are drawn to Amma. (-;>

Divine Sisters and Brothers

I have seen the video interviews on this child. I was impressed with her

words when she gives all the credit to God and surrenders to Him completely..

She sees God as the doer and divine inspiration for her paintings and

poetry-in fact for the gift of her whole life. She is service oriented and

donates money from the sale of her paintings to help the poor children all

of which is very much in alignment with Amma¹s spiritual teachings. What I

am feeling in this group dialogue is perhaps a bit of closed mindedness

towards her because of her Christian bent. Her guru is Christ and she at her

young very young age is living the truth of Christs teachings. Many in the

West are from a Christian upbringing. Amma¹s and Christs teachings are One.

Truth is One although there may be different cultural expressions and

different enlightened Beings who give expression to that truth. You know a

great soul like Amma can be in many bodies simultaneously Ask yourself what

if this little girl is not indeed a precious form of Amma- The Supreme

Consciousness. Does it really matter whether she comes to see Amma or not?

Appears she is following the mission she has been given by God and giving

adults renewed faith in Christ and exemplar inspiration. Amma does not

care what religion one comes from only that they go deep into God. Thank

you for listening.

Gnostic Christianity is certainly a valid path that meant to be a Yogic way of Life.

"Mystic Christ" book at Amma's books shop portrays it in the most beautiful way.

Just because I do not share same view about child prodigy does not make me closed

minded I much prefer low key individuals such as the Buddha Boy ( He is nicked name

Buddha ) I am not sure of His real name . Media flocked in hundreds to get photographs

of Him meditating under tree , He resumed further into jungle looking for peace . He felt

media was not pure with all the claims ect.... and escaped all the hype . Amma is

something else so She is fully enlightened being Media has no effect on Her . In general

though I do not like any media claims , Amma I experience without media hype .

Namah Sivaya Judith,

Yes I also agree of course. Many paths, one God-whether she sees

Amma or not is not important.

And thanks for your book about Amma's biography. I could not put it

down.

Om Namah Shivaya,

Within the last 24 hours, 2 devotees have relayed how a 5-yr-old girl asked Amma if She was Christ. Not just God/Christ-Concioussness, one with everything :), but if She actually lived as Christ in another lifetime. Reportedly, due to the girls' innocence question, Amma answered with a direct "yes.." One devotee said he heard the story relayed around a dinner table, the other one said she heard it at the MA Center on Christmas eve.

My due respects for this child prodigy.

But, in keeping with the "traditions" of this group, should we not

have initially classified this thread as "non-ammachi"?
