Guest guest
ONS I am sharing this in the hopes for prayers but also to share info in as many ways as I can so others can avoid the trama my daughter, her fiance and her 4 year old are now experiencing. They had just secured jobs, a house to rent in southern CO. The last step was to go back to southern CA and rent a uhaul trailer and move all of their things. They are in their late 20's and really wonderful, sweet people trying to make the right family choices. They stopped in Eastern NV on the I 15 to sleep in a hotel so they wouldn't be too tired to unload at the new place. During the night their truck and uhaul were stolen. My grandson was with out even a pair of shoes as they carried him in for a just a quick sleep. The only extra thing my daughter put into her purse from the truck was a little Amma package I had sent her with pictures, quotes and sacred ash. It was tramatic being in the middle of nowhere in this situation but a variety of angels showed up-strangers giving them money, clothes, a ride to the nearest rental car. Having just arrived in their new town the word is out and the locals are doing what ever they can to help get some household things together. The kids are holding up well- so glad to have each other even if they don't have all that stuff. They are so moved by the help they are receiving. They keep thinking about hurricane Katrina and how they are so lucky that their lives were never in danger. They are feeling the grace in the middle of the trama. Still it may be something to think about if you are hauling everything you own across NV. This has happened several times this year already we are now discovering. Guest guest
Dearest Tushita, Thank You for sharing the story of what happened to your beloved family. I can fully understand the trauma they must have experienced, as my husband, my son and I have also been in the position where we have lost almost all of our belongings in a very traumatic way. However; on the other hand, there is so much grace embedded within this story, that I am convinced that this episode in your daughter's life will turn out to be an unanticipated moment of great blessings and insight. It is very significant that the only thing your daughter brought in with her to the motel was Amma's pictures and vibuti. Obviously, She had a Divine Hand in this drama, in ways that are not readily apparent. Only time will tell. There is one thing that I am completely convinced of, and that is that we live a a world that is becoming more and more unstable as each day goes by. The future is not guaranteed. We are all, in one way or another, being forced to really experience the truth of what is real and what is not real here on the earth plane...The lessons of Katrina and The Great Tsunami have demonstrated that in a very dramatic way...like the Buddhist practice of creating beautiful, complex sand mandalas that take weeks to create, and then in one great sweep of a hand, it is all wiped away in an instant! What are we left with when all is gone? To be given the opportunity to ask that question and explore the answers is a great gift, indeed, for we are being given the opportunity to move closer to the Truth of existence. Divine Mother would never leave Her children with nothing, and it has been my experience that once She has given us this opportunity, She also makes sure that we know She is providing us with everything that we need, even if it is not necessarily in the way that we would "like" it to be right away. And, by taking all the possessions away, it really opens the door for a tremendous rebirth on every level...a new birth where we are lucid and awake. A precious gift. May this new birth bring them a deep inner happiness, more detachment and an unshakable peace; and may Amma grow within them at every moment! May they know and experience how very much they are LOVED, and may they BECOME that LOVE. May we all become that LOVE, and become Radiant, Sustainable sources of Divine Energy for all who are in need. Jai Ma!!!!! With Amma's Grace, we must all learn these lessons, for there may come a time when we will be faced with many more catastrophic events where much will be taken away, and it is Amma's children who will have the strength, courage, love, wisdom and faith to lead the way, and to help all those who will not understand. May we all be capable of the tasks She asks us to take on, and may we all become pure and perfect instruments of Her infinite Compassion and Love! Please let us know how we can be of assistance to your precious family. What are their needs at this time? Have they connected with any of the local Amma satsangs in that area? Please keep us informed and let us help in any way that we can. I will place them on our weekly prayer list as well. Hold tight to Her Feet, and trust in Her ways. May our Beloved Mother and all Her Children be victorious. Jai Ma! Guest guest
Sanatani, Thank you for your beautiful and rich response and prayer. It is true that we don't know the 'bigger picture' and one of the first things that occured to my daughter was that as wrong and sickening as this felt it also felt somehow right. My daughter has not been in Amma's lap for 9 or so years. Her partner has not yet met Amma and my grandson has received many blessings from Amma but has yet to be with Her physically. Every summer tour I think that this is the year I will fly out west to take them. (My daughter has said she wants to go but feels unable to approach the programs with out me along). Still they are receiving so much of Her Grace. And they are actually understanding the there really may be blessings in disasters. I always send them Kisses and have Amma bless them when I see Her and this seems to be giving them some strength. Thank you for asking what they need. The people in Montrose/Grand Jct are putting so much effort into gathering things for their empty home. They had only met a few people but the communities are gathering together and finding clothes, furniture etc. I sent them a few boxes of things but the shipping is costly. What they really want is for 'mom, dad and little sister to come out from WI asap. Megan said she is holding up ok but could really use her mom. We are trying to see if that can happen. I don't know about satsangs in the area. It seems that some of their material needs are going to be met by these angels in CO. Some of their family members and friends are sending money. A grandfather who was angry and very opposed to this relocation has totally softened and is offering help. I think all of our prayers are very helpful. Maybe writing letters of encouragment would be good for them. Again thanks to all that are holding us in their prayers.
