First see dispositor of Mercury - if wellplaced choose Vyasadeva or Dattatreya. If badly placed see the Karaka of that bhava and here use the Pratyadhi from BPHS. If this also is badly placed then see the bhava, here the list:

 

1-Brahma

2,5,9,11- Visnu

3-Prajapati

4-Parvati

7-Lakshmi

10-Saraswati

6,8,12-Siva
