Namaste!

No Need to be apologetic for positive aspects of a community which others have to inherit.

One thing is clear Gujaratis are devout Hindus and also live as a community.

I see Gujaratis more in temple activities and religious ones.

They generally live in community may due to the fact they are business class people.

I lived for 2 years in Gujarat and have seen the distinction.

In USA , I have seen them have a huge gathering which is social get together.

For example in Guajarat, muslims too speak Guajarati.

But in Andhra they dont'.

As they are not united,in south you see christian leaders like current CM YSR is Chief Minister.

When Christian CM is favoring all the Churches and Mosques and implementing damaging decisions at Tirumala Tirupathi and Bhadrachalam( Sri Rama' one of the holy places), Hindus don't react in Andhra. They are materially educated, can understand English but no emotional attachment to religion.

Andhra CM has taken several damaging and insulting decisions at Tirumala.

For exmple he appointed a christian Ms.Noble Das as VC of Sri Padmavati Mahila University. What she did after assuming office was removing the photos of God Sri Balaji and Goddess Sri Padmavati. But none of the people reacted to it. So many other things like appointing Christians ad TTD employees, giving Tirupati Prasadam - Laddu making to a Christian company located in Chennai, instead of making Tirupathi and Tirumala as holy cities, The temple's purview was limited to only two hills and also passed a GO.

Same Govt., made the Devastanam authorities to sell land to a christian org. and now they built a Church nearer to Badhrachalam Temple.Adding salt to the injury, on Sri Rama Navami day some christians came into temple and pasted and distributed christian propaganda papers and documents.

AP CM YSR is adamant to control and destroy TTD and all other Hindu holy places and Mathams.

He tried to pass a law to take over all Pethams and temples and sell all the lands to Christian orgs. at throwaway prices and weaken the financial position of all temples.

Through a Hindu Minsiter he tried to sell all the lands of temples and when some uproar generated, he made the minister scapegoat and stopped it.

But danger is there. Why all these and how daring to do it?

Like I have written in one of my previous mails, 'deep rooted faith verseus loosely held and apologetic', and mentally dead living Hindus. Every Hindu in Andhra knows this.

Like I was talking about 'fear', had all Telugu people sacrificed one day salary and millions of them come out on streets throughout Andhra and peacefully protest warn the politicians, then the very next day AP CM will be removed and they never dared to do any immoral act.

But when people are immoral and degraded, then ruler also behaves like that.

Now corruption and power thirst dancing every where.

So for the sake of some materialistic benefits, and to make money at any cost, Hindus themselves leading a life of degraded one.As you know the great Sanskrit adage " Yathaa Raaja Thathaa Prajaa'. As people, as the ruler is.

One can earn money and can be ambitious but not at the cost of Character and Integrity.

Yes, some good people are always there and there is some hope also to it.

Several Peethadipathis under the leadership of Sri Sri Pejavar Peethadipathis formed a committee comprised of sveral retired High Court Judges, retired DGP and other learned people.

They are not politicians but people of integrity and character. They enquired in detail, interviewed people and finally last year around July they submitted their report to the Council of several Peethadipathis under the leadership of Sri Pejavar Peethadipathi, Udipi.

I was fortuante to attend that meeting.

Afer the report got prominence, Govt., backtracked to some extent and promised few things but nothing was implemented.The fight and campaign is going on.

There is a registered body called "Tirumala Tiruapthi Samrakshana Samiti(TTSS)" and several Balaji workers spread the whole Andhra and explaining to the people the Christian Govt.'s evil intentions.

There is a silver line to it. All caste associations including Dalit associations on the day the Committee report was submitted, extended their support to the campaign "Save Tirumala".

I bought lot of material to USA and distributed in local temples and offered to promote web site for TTSS, though somehow they don't respond as they were busy with several meetings at that time.

I attended their meetings in July 2006. If anyone wants to involve in the activities and contribute to them, it is most welcome.

From that time my resolve has been strengthened to do my duty both in-terms of moral and material support.

As you know advising is very easy but involvement is tough. So when we cannot involve physically, then we can help those people who spanned to nook and corner of a village working there to garner the support of people by contributing money or any other thing.

The point is still Andhra people don't respond to it.

Let me tell you one interesting thing. I have several times tried to take an appointment with AP CM. But his P.A. Mr. Bhaskar Sharma totally refused to give appointment, when he came to know that I wanted to protest and discuss Tirumala issue.

I tried a lot to get the so called Mega Star of Telugu Chiranjeevi, his secretary told me that give a letter why I wanted to meet him and then the request will go to his brother in law Mr. Allu Aravind and he will decide whether to give an appointment or not. Then I lost all the hope of reaching the megastar Chiranjeevi, because Allu Aravind is shrewd business man and his advise is followed by Chiranjeevi so, I thought I never get an appointment.

His Secretary is good but helpless.

The reason to try to meet Chiranjeevi is he is the biggest crowd puller and if he has any respect for God Balaji, then this is the great opportunity for him to serve God.

But currently Chiranjeevi is on good offices with AP CM as Chiranjeevi put a huge poster of Theresa and repeatedly says he got inspiration from her.

Chiranjeevi got all kinds of awards, titles and felicitations. So he may not like to help God now.

So coming to back to point, when we people degraded, then no one will help God and Evil will implement it's agenda.
