Please help with chart! (Marriage Investigation)

Dear Jyotish Acaryas

I am presently looking at a friend's chart. Her 7th Lord Venus is nicely situated in 3rd house, unafflicted, and Venus again appears in first house in Navamsa, unafflicted. Also, in D7 there is no problem with Rahu in Upapada or anything! Only problem I can see is that the 7th Navamsa Lord - Mercury - is conjunct with Rahu in Navamsa chart.

However, she is complaining bitterly about her marriage! She married someone much senior to her in age, who is now not interested in having any children, and also whom she discovered secretly has another wife!!! I don't seem to see why she should have so many problems. In fact, from Navamsa etc. it seems she should have 3 children. What are the problems in her chart, and will she get divorced and re-married, or will the husband die? She is in Venus Maha-dasa now and will soon go into sun-maha dasa. She has a strong desire to go overseas, which I think is possible due to Jupiter being in Mooltrikona in the 9th house, so perhaps will she remarry overseas?

She is born on Amavasya with moon in it's own house which seems to

cause more problems. The 4th house is heavily afflicted with mercury

being combust. I don't know the details of moon being combust but it

is 3 degrees from Sun. Her chart from moon lagna is afflicted with

Mars in 2nd as well.

 

The moon, Sun combination is a strong Raja yoga though.

 

I agree that it looks like she will get a chance to go abroad and get

remarried since her chart does show some marital happiness. I think

her present problems are shown from the 4th house but since Jupiter

(karaka for husband) is well placed in rashi & reasonable in Navamsa,

she should get a proper husband.

 

Interesting that her Atmakaraka is Rahu which shows she has to

tolerate suffering from others which seems she does not deserve.

Second UL will have Rahu in it so maybe she will get grief from her

second husband as well?

 

She is has Rahu & Mars dosha from moon lagna very strong.

Thank you for the additional insights, though I would have thought moon, especially in the 4th, would primarily affect the mother (but her mother is quite healthy and happy!). I guess some problems regarding no children could be coming from Mars in the 5th, second from moon. But what exactly would indicate divorse or two husbands in this chart?

Hi Ila,

 

What do you think about both the 7th lord and kalatra-karaka (ve and

ma) in the nakshatra of lunar nodes and the nodes on the zenith-nadir

axis with gulika? Mars is in 7th from 7P, venus is on 12P (flavours of

karako bhav nashaya a la Jaimini).

 

Sattwik jupiter aspecting both from the 9th house in ketu's star would

use the superficial issue of marriage/romance to drive some

soul-changing lessons home!

 

AK saturn in 9th in navamsha with ketu and gulika will create more

opportunities for all these negative experiences to not go to waste in

the next few years, the realization dawning as soon as 2009 May.
