Clarification required regarding Upapada

Hi ,

I read in many places that Upapada and second house from Upapada is very important in one's married life. My upapada falls in the Aquarius. Am not sure i should consider saturn as the lord or Rahu as the lord of my Upapada (I am not sure which of these planets are stronger in my chart). Also the second from Upapada is empty and is aspected by the following: Mars by his 8th aspect,Rahu by his 9th aspect, Saturn by his 7th aspect.

DOB: 15-Nov-1981 @ 6:25 AM (+5:30 GMT)

79E42 , 11N06

 

Please let me know if i will have serious trouble in my married life because of this arrangement? If yes, are there any remedies?

would have been helpful. However, without chart rectification, and on

the information you have provided, here are some answers [not

necessarily the most authoritative]:

 

1-Yes, the Upapada is very important for ascertaining when marriage

would or would have occurred, but the 2nd from Upapada is equally

important for evaluating the fruits of marriage. In your case, the

2nd from Upapada in your natal Rashi chart falls in Meena rashi where

Gulika is also posited, and whose owner is in the 12th house, 8th

from his own sign with debilitated Atmakaraka Sun and Mercury. The

saving grace is that Guru is in the 9th from Arudha Lagna. Saturn

appears to be more stronger than Rahu, though they both have part

ownership.

 

In Navamsa, the 2nd from Upapada is in the 5th from Lagna and 8th

from AL. The house itself is owned by Mars, who is a Yogakaraka for

the chart. Despite Rahu's affliction in both Rashi and Navamsa

charts, chances of being blessed with progeny may exist IF you

sincerely propitiate both Guru [esp. Lord Dakshinamoorthy and Mars

Dear krishji,

Mai I ask you to validate the following.?

Sun is in the twelfth house from lagnam.in a venusian sign.This may imply

that the father is the benefactor of wealth and riches of the

native.Thefather drains the wealth and monies of the

native.The father himself amassed wealth at the time of the birth of the

native.During 1994 and 2006 such possibilities might have cropped

up.Coborns,one of them seems to have health problems, as Mars is in

Leo.ie in 2004 or so.

Thank You very much Shanvarji for your time and detailed account on the remedies i need to follow. I will definetely follow the same . I was born in south india in Tanjore district and presently am working in US. My parents have just started looking for my marriage and I got a little scared after looking at my chart with my limited knowledge. I wanted to confirm if the ill effects because of my upapada and 2nd from upapada can be improved with any prayers before getting commited with marriage.

I greatly appreciate your help in this regard.

Dear Jagannathanji,

My father joined his work just before i was born and we are basically a middle class family. My father is still working and taking care of the family (my younger brother's educational expense also). I have just started working an year back and i have been independent. My brother had health issues in his younger years but now he seems to be OK.
