BVC with gold and VATARAKSHASA POTTALI KALPA 2. shirashooladi vajra along with varunadi kashaya. 3. migroset all these not at a time. but at different stages with a gap of almost a year similar many yogas. all helped to reduse a dose of allopath medicine but now what i need is this year in winter season the pain is very severe. will any one suggest with there past experince how to treat it and what medication will help to bring down the pain? kindly help... he is also a case of IHD, and treated with ANGIOPLASTY. he is on carbamazapine100MG BD, Gabapentin150MG,OD ,OXYTOL 300MGOD Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest guest Posted January 17, 2007 Report Share Posted January 17, 2007 Dear Dr pradeep, As the symptoms,Anupashaya(Aggravation due to sheeta) and old age(vayao ahoraatri bhuktaanam tena antya madya krammadhibhihi) purly indicating prakopa of kevela vata means vata alone vitiated here.So you must treat with this case by stiching on to fundemental tretment principles.Do not use any medicines having vatakapha hara properties. Follow the chikitsa sutra suggested by Yogaratnakara as "Ardite navanam murdhi tailam tarpana mevacha....." Nasya with 'Ksheerabala tailam(snigdha,balya,brihmana,vatahara) for a week then Shiro dhara or vasti or atleast shoro pichu with The same taila for 2 weeks. Ashwagandha Ksheerapaka twice daily.
