Not on Rudraksha but on Lotus Seeds

Off topic, hope u all don't mind. Rather quiet here anyway.

With some lotus seed malas, the lotus seed is whitish and specks. And

the seeds more roundish. There are also those whose seeds are dark

brown /black and shape is ovalish. Are both lotus seeds? Colour

difference is "understandable" but the difference in shapes. I

initially thought the whites ones were bodhi seed but the reply was

that they are lotus seeds.

 

Ok wait, let me sneak in a rudraksha question.

Can u wear even numbers of rudraksha or must it be an odd number so

that there is some kind of centre bead?
