I was trying to find out the Ma-Om technique but it is not on the

website. I know that inhalation is Ma and exhalation is Om, but are

there any visualizations associated with it?

Thanks

When Big Swami has taught this, he has only said to focus on the

breath and the sound.

Namah Shivaya,

There is a chants & meditation video, as well as a Ma-Om audio tape. They go into more depth than the instructions at Ama's public programs. As I recall, the basics are to breath in Ma (Divine Love), exhale Om (Divine light), & for a few breaths visualize light coming in through the 3rd. eye, a few more then filling the head, then going down the spine, & lastly filling the whole body. Then you draw energy up through the chakras, from the base up to the top of the head on "Ma" & exhale, seeing & feeling the energy traveling down through the chakras on "Om." You feel all of you cells filling with love, then the internal mantra of Ma-Om subsides into a vast stillness. This isn't exact, so anyone who freshly recalls more details, please feel free to give input.

Thanks for the info. I'll get the tape. btw for anyone who is

interested, Swami Sivananda wrote a very short summary of all the yoga

paths and called it (aptly) Amrita Gita. Here's a link to it....
