Guest guest
This works for me, as well we had discussed adding a subject line that gave a heads up for everyone so they could delete the email asap. These opportunities happen maybe a few times a year, so we are not speaking of a deluge of unwanted information. I wanted to pose a thought (meditation)around this dialog. I did receive my answer from Amma, but this was my answer, each must seek this out for themselves. No situation is black and white and fits all peoples. Acceptance is the goal, and support of all that is serving the highest good. It seems that many of the Divine manifestations of God are celebrated in the many Bhajans we sing while with Amma. If Lord Krishna, Rama, Vishnu and Shiva where here in the body and offering their darshan, would you want to receive it? It is a sign of the times that we are in, that the female incarnations are appearing and offering their guidance and help. It is as Amma teaches, that we are in need of reawakening the motherhood within us all, so that we may begin to learn how to actively share our compassion, acceptance and love with everyone in the world at this time, so that we may come together as a Whole. This is an ideal. We are to strive for this even if it does not seem like a true possibility. --- Omenka Supriti Nnadi <oomenka > wrote: > Perhaps a compromise would be to just post the > website connection in your posting here that points > to where the information can be had, instead of > typing it all out here... > > I like to have Amma stuff here... >
Guest guest
Dear Stacee, With respect, I think all of that is understood. However, if you attend a Sai Babba Satsang or any other guru's, they do not discuss Amma. Hopefully that is understandable as well. I had asked this as being a Satsang leader when someone wanted other aspects of Divine Mother during an Amma Satsang. And that is the answer-all out of respect to the one Guru we may have chosen to follow. And out of respect to the other devotees who have chosen an Amma Satsang. That is all, nothing else is being said or implied. Hopefully, this may shed some understanding on this. thanks, in Amma, Adriane Ammachi, Stacee Kramer <stacee.kramer wrote: > > This works for me, as well we had discussed adding a > subject line that gave a heads up for everyone so they > could delete the email asap. > > These opportunities happen maybe a few times a year, > so we are not speaking of a deluge of unwanted > information. > > I wanted to pose a thought (meditation)around this > dialog. Guest guest
Dear all, I agree with what Stacee said. However, I think it is important to understand, that Mother Meera - that's her own words - is not a guru. Also it seems to me, that - may be therefore - her program can be easier comunicated in the western world. For example, she says, you don't need to cite the thousand names of god, one is good enough. Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya, Did Amma's physical form state directly to you, that it's OK to see other Gurus? Amma erportedly told a brahmachari at Amritapuri, who wanted to visit another female Guru, that of he did, She would take away the boons She had given to him. My concern is that a heads about other Gurus on Amma's , may confuse and tempt devotees to do other than what Amma wants for us. Guest guest
Dearest, And Amma has stated that we should recite the 108 names daily and constantly repeat our mantras as often as possible throughout the day. Hence the beauty of the guru. The guru is even greater than God. How can this be? Because one not even need to believe in God when you have a Guru. The guru alone will take you to the goal. These are words spoken by Amma. Ammachi, "wakkamann" <Hardisigi14 wrote: > > Dear all, > > I agree with what Stacee said. Guest guest
Namah Shivaya, There is no right or wrong way to look at this. Each one's need and perspective is OK. It is true that Mother Meera has said she is not a Guru. I think there are many who feel an affinity for more than one Master...and this does not have do be broadcast across an Ammachi list---I agree. But it is rare and important in the times we are in to have such experiences (IMHO) and if an Avatar or two happens to come your way...share, share share... We are in very difficult and dark times right now...and why not know that you have the comfort and support of a team of special beings who are here sharing this journey with you? This is as neutral as you can get....I include all great ones in my journey and call upon any and all for Light, Love, support and guidance. I will say that I understand 1000% about the intimate, and intricate relationship one should develop with their Guru, it is like no other experience and I feel that greatly with our Ammachi...so I appreciate all that you have been sharing about this. I felt drawn to share this information with this list, as it will allow many to choose for themselves as far as going to see this manifestation of the Divine Mother. But I have no intention of upsetting others and making anyone feel threatened in their relationship with our beloved Ammachi. If anything, I see Mother Meera and Amma working together and I have read Mother Meera's words that all Divine Incarnations are the same. So that is my two cents. I am OK as well to not send out this information if this is best for all. Guest guest
Dear Aldriane, so just do what Amma told you, if Amma is already your guru based on your still voice in your heart. That's wonderful for you. Well, it was also wonderful to me, what I experienced the last six months. At the beginning I wasn't aware of Amma nor of Mother Meera (it is the first time that I hear about her, even she is living in Germany) or any other Guru or avatar. I had only my strong believe in Mother Kali and looked for a way to get closer to her, specifically to overcome my inability to meditate due to my impatience. So I looked for a solution and found it by doing japa with a Kali- Mantra. And what I did was similar to that what I read yesterday said by Mother Meera (rough translation from German); "Do Japa with the divine name, on which you believe. Because each name of the divine is full of divine vibrations. But dont try to reach something. Try to do it with truth and empathy for love of the divine. This gives you the immediate power regardless if you realize it or not. Which name or which mantra you use depends only on your own spiritual feelings. Important is not the formal pronounciation of the name, but the related empathy and craving for the name. The mantra, which comes easy und quickly you should use. It should provide strong empathy and to be like music coming from the heart. But don't do it by fanatism and become reluctant to your daily business." I found a called kissing kali and asked there for a incarnation of Mother kali, as I still think this is the best way to fulfill my craving to Kali. Some recommended Amma as Kali's incarnation and so I'm here. In the meantime the kundalini rised, when I'm closing my eyes I see daily mosaics of all lights and colours and yesterday I had my first O.B.E. experience. And I had always dreams, to include lucide ones. They told me what to do, or gave me the option to select. One of the dreams has as a result the visit of Herrenberg/Germany on 26-28 January 07 to take Amma's meditation course. In the dream I was sitting in a train, driving across my life and showing me an endless number of activities and noise. Then the train came to a camp on a hill consisting of a few buildings, but no people. Suddenly a voice said: " The entrance was more expensive as thought. A second voice answered: "But the people here are happy." Then I heard my Higher Self saying: " Well, pay once and then be happy for ever." And as long as my still voice in my heart has no objections, I'm happy to follow my Higher Self in my dreams. If my Higher Self says Amma is your Guru, it's binding to me. If it says see Mother Meera to assist you in opening knots in the kundalini rising, it's binding to me. If it says, you need a helper in doing astral travelling to meet Mother Kali or Sri Ramakrishna, it's binding to me. This is my commitment to Mother Kali and Sri Ramakrishna. They say the Higher Self or Self is the Guru, or as Amma says the "inner Amma". Many on the path are led by the Self, for me as well it was about 13 years of this before meeting or working with a physical Guru. Each one's path is unique. Ultimately you must follow the inner Guru (God, Self), but until this is clear then one can work with the outer Guru, if they are comfortable with this. Still, many in the West do not understand this concept. And it is the One's like Mother Meera and Haidakhan Babaji who are saying to follow the Self.(in whatever way, path or religion you choose)---it is a sign of the times, as it is imperative that we learn Love, Compassion, Surrender, and Faith, and in a way, we must find any way we can to do this. I have heard Shree Ma (another Divine Mother with a connection to Sri Ramakrishna and Kali, btw) say that everyone has a Guru whether they are aware of this or not. So we are lucky to have found an outer Guru as well to guide, Love and assist us on this journey. JAI MA!!!!!
