Guest guest
Perhaps a compromise would be to just post the website connection in your posting here that points to where the information can be had, instead of typing it all out here... I like to have Amma stuff here... Om Namashivaya - In Amma's service, Supriti Omenka Nnadi
Guest guest
I just saw this and yes, that would be a better idea than typing everything out. thanks for this, Adriane Ammachi, Omenka Supriti Nnadi <oomenka wrote: > > Perhaps a compromise would be to just post the website connection in your posting here that points to where the information can be had, instead of typing it all out here... > > I like to have Amma stuff here... > > > > Om Namashivaya - In Amma's service, > > Supriti Omenka Nnadi > >

If you've experienced Mother Meera and think she blows Amma out of the water, that kind of posting belongs on a Meera or listserv(and a couple of clicks on google will no doubt find such a group). has Amma ever told any devotees not to see other teachers/gurus/divine mother avatars? Je ne crois pas.. unlike some Maharishi or Gurumayi devotees who've found themselves blacklisted after being caught attending Amma's programs. fwiw, i have no desire to go for Mother Meera's darshan, even if she were to come to Toronto. Amma and Karunamayi are enough for me. Keval
Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya Mike, I've received 2 first hand reports of Amma giving instructions not to see other Gurus. Recently, a devotee wrote that Amma brought this up in MI, & was extremely, lucidly clear in what She was saying about it. It's been said that seeing other Gurus, can be likened to being unfaithful in a marriage. Following our Guru's instructions will lead us to liberation, & it's my understanding that merging with the Divine Mother is our reason for our human births. Sticking to one Guru seems to be one of Amma's easier instructions to follow. At least it's easier for me to do that than it is to always chant my mantra, see God in everyone, stay in the moment, be consistent with sadhana, etc ... Our Guru will test us. I pray that we pass Her tests, are showered with Amma's Grace & with what I imagine are limitless gifts & blessings from an infinite God(ess). The worth of the opportunities Amma offers to us are probably beyond our comprehension. Amma's been very patient with me. And, becoming commited to Amma has been a big step, as I fled, sabatoged & avoided commited relationships. Through Her Grace, I've found the one true love that I've sought all of my life This is a big deal. After understanding that Amma wants us to stick with Her only, I feel violated by encouragement that it's OK to see other Gurus. Maybe I feel as I would if someone encouraged me to date outside of a serious, fulfilling, commited relationship. Since this is Amma's , I feel it's important to give clarification on Her words, and maybe even encouragement to sincere devotees, regarding Amma's teachings. Thank you for this forum. Guest guest
The important point in life is findind out Real Guru. Once you find and convinced, you must follow your Guru single mindedly. Swami Vivekananda in his thrust for Spirituality and Truth searched a lot and talked a lot of spiritual men. Finally he was convinced that Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa is the real guru and God. Rest was history as well know. Later Swami Vivekananda accomplished his duty and established Adwaita Ashramas and Ramakrishna Misssions all over the World. Thanks Srinivas K Sweta Mitzel <swetabc > wrote: Om Namah Shivaya Mike, I've received 2 first hand reports of Amma giving instructions not to see other Gurus.
