Guest guest
Dear Group, I have written to this group before. I recently took my PhD qualifying exam and everyone on the committee agreed to pass me except my own advisor. She is requiring some extra work on my part. she has also very unfairly scored my performance very low. I find it sad that my own advisor is doing this. I am fearful about the future of my PhD.. Please help me. A little about me in case it is needed: I am currently a PhD student and I am doing research in a biomedical related field. Ever since 2000 I have I had a very difficult time in my studies and have not studied properly or received good results. I have had pretty serious problems with authority figures and I suffer from lack of self confidence. Often I find myself in situations where I am being treated unfairly and taken advantage of. After much struggle I got this admission into the PhD program in April 2004. If you could offer me any advice, guidance or suggestions on how I can make myself and more stronger person and get through these times I would really appreciate it. My advisor is also threatening to hinder my progress and I am very scared. A few people have actually suggested that I take legal action. But I know they are just angry with the way I am being treated. Also, I have not had much luck with relationships or finances. Have I chosen the right career? Will I be able to get my PhD? If so when? Do you have any recommendations as to what else I could possible pursue to ensure financial security, perhaps some recognition and fame as well. My birth details are December 13, 1980 time 9:00am place Long Beach California USA. Significant events: I am not married,I have a younger brother born Dec 8th, 1986 I Moved away from home August 2002. Got admission into PhD in April 2004. Knee surgery at 13 years of age. Thanks for all your help. Sincerely, Seema
Guest guest
//I am fearful about the future of my PhD. // Do not worry . The MahaDasha shows at source Jupiter in 8th Lord of 12th and 3rd and also 1 8th means obstructions and 12th means denials and 3rd means 12th to 4th means obstruction to studies, but the result of Jupiter shows 2 means happiness. The antar Rahu again shows 12th and 4th together not very appealing, but as result shows 11th (Gains) with 6th (Hard work) alongwith 7th (Associates/Contacts/Partners/) and also alongwith 9th (Higher studies research Oriented like Phd). Therefore I see you going through succesfully. //I have had pretty serious problems with authority figures and I suffer Often I find myself in situations where I am being treated unfairly and taken advantage of. // The 10th house SAV shows 39 points in Your chart and the 11th shows 29, which means you get less of recognition and have to put in more efforts. In other words the ratio of respect received in contrast to the proportion of efforts You put in is less. In other words again if You put in efforts worth Rs.3900 worth, You get returns worth Rs. 2900. (Do not mistake this for loss, that is a seperate issue) // financial security, perhaps some recognition and fame as well. // Out of 9 Planets at least 3 are showing enough strength to make your finances strong from time to time. So here too do not keep any tensions. Fame would come much later in life. Advise- You are bound to win either in court or by confrontation. So better take few confidantes alongwith You and go for direct confrontation with this person whos been stalling and halting your progress. I do not mean fight, but confront, Hiss but dont bite, if need be you can fight too, but that should be the last resort. Since 6th house is showing results in Antar of Rahu, which is the opponents 12th or loss, You shall win, also 11th is running for You which is Your gains, so again confirtmed that You shall win. 7th shows support of your colleagues. Take it. Bio Medical Career is seen through the Planets Sun,Mars and mercury and the signs Aries,Leo,Pisces and Gemini, and the houses connected should be 1, 5 and 8. If You are able to connect this career with Cosmetic Bio Medical or connected to face in human anatomy, or to beautifying Plants, Humans whatever... (I am not aware if such branch exists), then this career would do very good and better for You. Becaus wholelife You would be involved with Moon and 2nd house only astrologically and anything technical related to this. You notice something so coincident in your life all through this sojourn on Earth for You, and I wish all interested readers in this Forum to note, that her current MahaDasha Jupiter ending in 3 years, Next Saturn and next mercury and next ketu all these MahDasha Lords are in sway Of Moon as their constellation Lords and will give results as per that only to the Native. Best wishes, Bhaskar. , "Seema" <seema1263 wrote: > > Dear Group, > I have written to this group before.
