Guest guest
How God seems to love - Inner Voice Namaste all. Last year I wanted to share this script from 'Inner Voice' published in Hindustan times news paper. Today I got the home computer to type it finally. How God seems to love by A.K.Bhargava There is always a tussle between believers and non-believers. Believers develop ego as they feel they are nearer to God and God looks after them with special care. Non-believers on the other hand can't blame any one for what goes wrong and so feel more confident of themselves. But in the eyes of God all are apparently equal and are cared for: Nor are we doing God favor by our belief. It is only through our actions, thoughts and attitude to others that we can hope to please God. There is a nice story I heard about the Prophet Abraham on this. One day Abraham was sitting outside his house when he saw a very old man walking with the aid of a stick, passing by. Good as he was, Abraham went to that man and said, " Come in and accept my hospitality for today. Have a wash and some food, take rest for the night and go in the morning." The man said that he would be fine under the near by tree. However, Abraham persuaded him to come along and accept his hospitality. After they had food and it was time for prayers, the old man sat apart in a corner and did not show any interest. Abraham felt very bad and asked the man to join him. The old man refused and said, " I do not believe in God." Abraham got very angry and threw him out of th house. After his prayers Abraham went to sleep. At night God asked Abraham, " Where is that old man I sent to you to be looked after?" Abraham replied, " My Lord, that man neither believes in you nor says any prayers. Therefore I gave him a good thrashing and turned him out of the house." God said, " Abraham, I know he does not believe n Me, but I have looked after him for the past 98 years, and you could not look after him for one night?" Abraham begged pardon of God and fetched the old man back. innervoice (AT) hindustantimes (DOT) com Hope you enjoy this note along with your family and friends. Love, Dr. Jaya Jaya Sri Radhey! Guest guest
Dear Sadhak, It is a beautiful story. It conveys a great lesson that instead of fighting on whether GOD is or not, one should love and help all His creations. Guest guest
Thanks pyari ji, It is indeed a soul touching story!. How to get Kripa of God? How to get Kripa of Guru ? Why Paramhansa did special Kripa on Vivekanada and not on other dedicated disciples ? The answer lies in our own heightened spirituality or special favours from God/Guru ? love baba
