how to prevent/treat traveler's diarrhea ? please help

I will be going back for another visit to india soon, but I'm worried I will get another bad case of traveler's diarrhea.

It only happens after 2 weeks into my trip, and then lasts for almost 3-4 weeks.

Is there any meds/vaccines I can take to prevent this.

Powder 4 two tablespoons of an equal mixture of jeera and ajwain and to it add sugar to taste. Whenever you feel that your stomach is going to get upset or aches, munch two teaspoons of the mixture with your teeth and allow the essence to get past the throat into the foodpipe slowly. If there is no respite in half an hour, take one or two more teaspoons and you should get substantial or total relief.
