Guest guest Posted January 3, 2007 Report Share Posted January 3, 2007 New Year Greetings to All. My brother's son ( age is 8 years ) started complaining about severe head aches about 1 year ago. After all kinds of clinical tests, the Doctors have confirmed the problem as having an Arachnoid Cyst. They also think that this problem must have been since birth. The current condition of the boy is very good, he has not had any problems in the past because of this ( except for an occasional headache ). The doctors are advising against taking any corrective actions ( surgery ) right now. My question to the Learned Vaidyas is this 1. How do we accurately ascertain the source of the Headaches ? I am not totally convinced that the head aches are due to the cyst. 2. Could this be a migraine ? How do we accurately identify a migraine headache ? What treatments are available for migraine in Ayurveda ? 3. What treatments are available for Arachnoid Cysts in Ayurveda ?
