Guest guest
Kamana or Vasanas - Desires Acharana - Way of living, Actions Kamanas and Acharana stand side by side in Life. Kama, Kamana or Kamini are co-related and have their actions or inactions expresses through the senses. Shukra expresses the energy of the soul. Brihaspati works towards reformation, purification and mutations within. Shukra gives tendency towards enjoyments and ultimately effecting sufferances, then repentance, then attainment of purity by controlling the senses or when such pleasures become uninteresting (In case of Raja Yayati or Buddha or Tulsidasji), whereas Brihaspati gives tendency towards wisdom. Shukra leads to action,Brihaspati leads to wisdom. Shukra approaches salvation through physical and material things, whereas, Brihaspati approaches through wisdom and meditation. In Shukra finer philosphical things have expression through the material things, whereas in Brihaspati material things are expressed in subtle aspects. Shukra views things as as they appear before the eyes(Beauty in a female for ex.), whereas Brihaspati views things through feelings (The Sweet nature of the beautiful lady). Shukra draws pleasure by creating a sweet atmosphere around it, for it does not get pleasure in absolute wisdom, whereas, Brihaspati draws pleasure through speechless meditation. Before Shukra the entire nature as it appears through the senses , is the absolute truth. By pen, literature, verses, and romances it is affectionate, emotional and passionate.. Through Music, art, actions, shyness it appeals to the senses, it arouses the senses. Its beautifully espressed symbolically in a Hindi song of yesteryears. " Sansaar se bhaage phirte ho, Bhagwaan ko tum kya paoge ".
Guest guest
To appreciate the wisdom of Guru one needs the passion of Shukra. For Maaya and Jeeva are but the two sides of the same coin. Guest guest
Sir, Yes. We have seem this in the case of Buddha before he became Buddha, Raja Yayati, and Bhakt Tulsidasa among others, and Bhakta Sudama too to a certain extent, as when he was awarded a overnight palace(Also a attribute of Shukra) by Lord Krishna , he preferred to spend the rest of his days in a kutiya (Hut) in the palace premises singing the name of the Lord. Then theres another category of people who have seen the attributes of Venus in another form, name and fame, minus the common mans passion attributed to Shukra. Among these Swami Vivekananda and ParamHansa Yogananda stand out in my memory as those, who channelised the passions of Shukra in the spiritual mode, thus making them great and remembered as they are. regards, Bhaskar. , "rishi_2000in" <rishi_2000in wrote: > > > > To appreciate the wisdom of Guru one needs the passion of Shukra. > For Maaya and Jeeva are but the two sides of the same coin. > > Rishi > > > , "Bhaskar" > <bhaskar_jyotish@> wrote: > > > > Kamana or Vasanas - Desires > > Acharana - Way of living, Actions > > > > Kamanas and Acharana stand side by side in Life. > > Kama, Kamana or Kamini are co-related and have their > > actions or inactions expresses through the senses. > > > > Shukra expresses the energy of the soul. > > Brihaspati works towards reformation, purification and > > mutations within. > > > > Shukra gives tendency towards enjoyments and ultimately > > effecting sufferances, then repentance, then attainment of purity > > by controlling the senses or when such pleasures become > > uninteresting (In case of Raja Yayati or Buddha or Tulsidasji), > > whereas Brihaspati gives tendency towards wisdom. > > > > Shukra leads to action,Brihaspati leads to wisdom. > > > > Shukra approaches salvation through physical and material > > things, whereas, > > Brihaspati approaches through wisdom and meditation. > > > > In Shukra finer philosphical things have expression through the > > material things, whereas in > > Brihaspati material things are expressed in subtle aspects. > > > > Shukra views things as as they appear before the eyes(Beauty > > in a female for ex.), whereas Brihaspati views things through > > feelings (The Sweet nature of the beautiful lady). > > > > Shukra draws pleasure by creating a sweet atmosphere > > around it, for it does not get pleasure in absolute wisdom, > > whereas, > > Brihaspati draws pleasure through speechless meditation. > > > > Before Shukra the entire nature as it appears through > > the senses , is the absolute truth.
