Guest guest
I'm sure you've all heard of Ram Bahadur Bomjon/Banjan (Palden Dorje), who many say is a Boddhisattva/another Buddha. He resurfaced a few days ago after allegedly meditating in the forests for 9 months.. Check out the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ram_Bahadur_Bomjon His birthtime is written as May 9, 1989, presumably somewhere near Kathmandu in Nepal. Time of day not mentioned. I plotted his chart in JHL using an arbitrary time of day. Amazingly or perhaps only coincidentally, he does have Sun AK exalted in Aries just like the Buddha. That doesnt change for the whole day, so we dont need an accurate birthtime to be sure of the AK. Also, it doesnt matter whether you use 7 or 8 charakaraka scheme, AK is Sun either way. Simply trying to compare KNRao's predictive methods with Sanjay Rath's predictive methods, notice that while both would say that Karakamsa is Scorpio (AK in Scorpio Navamsa), KNR (and Vijayadas Pradeep) would say look at Scorpio in Rasi chart as the Karakamsa. SR would say look at Scorpio in Navamsa chart itself. Now if you look at 12th from the AK in the Navamsa (i.e. Sagittarius), you see Rahu in Sagittarius with Rasi dristi of Ketu, Jupiter and Saturn. 12th from KNR Karakamsa in Rasi chart is still of course Sagittarius but with Saturn in it, with Rasi and Graha dristi from Mars and Moon. I dont know if KNR s to finding the Ishta devata from the 12th from Karakamsa, but if he does, then Istha devata is signified by whatever deity is signified by Saturn in Sagittarius. Saturn happens to be BK in the chart (7 charakaraka scheme). SR definitely s to finding the Ishta devata from the 12th from Karakamsa, but he looks at Karakamsa in Navamsa itself, so Ishta devata is signified by Rahu in Sagittarius, and Rahu happens to be AmK in the chart (8 charakaraka scheme). To me, it looks like SR's scheme is closer, at least in this case, to the actual truth. I think Robert Koch, in his book Spiritual Dimensions of Astrology, did note that Buddha type spiritual ideologies are represented by Rahu. And this seems to be the case here - this boy does have that ideology, and Rahu is in 12th from Karakamsa only in Navamsa chart, not Rasi chart. Secondly, Rahu is AmK in the chart (8 charakaraka scheme). Meaning his "work/career" will lead him to his Ishta. Since this boy is doing nothing but meditating, his "work/career" is actually just that - meditation. So again, that seems to be correct. Opinions, comments?
